Dr. Chris Kollath
Dentist
I grew up on a small beef cattle farm in Wisconsin. There I learned that I loved working with my hands and fixing broken things. In school I enjoyed and excelled in my science classes. And from my earliest days I’ve been driven to help and care for people. To me, dentistry is an incredible combination of those three cores of my personality. It’s a career that I love and am excited for every day.
While in Wisconsin I attended Marquette University and earned a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska took me away from Wisconsin with one of the best clinical dentistry education programs in the nation.
My wife and I love living in Mexico. We have enjoyed making it our home and contributing to the wonderful community here. Recently, we had a daughter and we are excited for her to grow up in this wonderful community.
Toni
Hygienist
Toni grew up in Texas where she originally became a dental hygienist in 1994. She practiced in Texas for 22 years before moving to Idaho where she worked with a periodontist for a couple of years.
In 2018 Toni moved to Missouri with her family. She joined our practice in 2023 and has been a wealth of knowledge and skill. Her emphasis on educating patients and giving them the very best care shows through every day.
In her free time Toni loves hiking, cooking, and traveling.
Angela
Dental Assistant
Angela graduated from the Dental Assisting Technology Program at State Technical College of Missouri in 2016. She has gained every Expanded Function possible in the state of Missouri for a Certified Dental Assistant (EFDA).
Angela is very passionate about dentistry and enjoys learning new things every chance she gets! She is currently studying hard to advance her career to the next level and become a Dental Hygienist.
Angela enjoys visiting state parks around Missouri with her husband and son.
Leonela
Business Assistant
In 2010 Leonela received her associates of applied sciences in business management from Everest college in Denver, CO. After receiving this degree Leo went on to become a pharmacy technician where she became an immunization tech and worked her way up to being a senior pharmacy technician.
In 2021 Leo began actively pursuing similar roles within the dental field. She has gained a deep functional knowledge around the complex workings of dental insurance policies and loves helping patients maximize their benefits. She is in your corner and fighting for every dollar you’re owed!
In her free time Leo enjoys cooking and gardening. But watch out! Leo’s cooking is too spicy for Dr. K!
Shania
Dental Assistant
Shania started her career at MU Hospital as a nutrition consultant and materials manager. In this role Shania earned several certifications and gained a knowledge of proper sterilization and patient safety protocols.
In 2022 Shania started her dental career as a business assistant. She learned the inner workings of dental insurance plans and patient scheduling. In the pursuit of furthering her dental knowledge Shania is becoming a dental assistant. She is diligently working on becoming a certified dental assistant with expanded functions.
Outside of work, Shania enjoys spending as much time as she can outdoors with her animals and family.
